Every wedding I shoot is unique in its own way, different from the one that came before and the one that will follow. Years from now when you ask me what I remember most from Kelly and Jay’s wedding, I will instantly recall many unforgettable moments, but mostly I will remember Jay bursting into tears when he first laid eyes on Kelly all decked out in her gorgeous gown, Kelly’s Grandma Rose fulfilling the duty of flower girl, Kelly and her mother gliding across the dancefloor, and the heartfelt and tearful toasts.
In spite of the rain, which restricted the outdoor photo opps the couple had hoped for, their day was gorgeous down to every detail – the beautiful blues and purples of the girls’ dresses, the incredible florals, and of course the ever-awesome hospitality provided by the staff of The Crooked Lake House.
And so without further ado, I give you Kelly and Jay’s wedding day…
