Michelle and Shawn’s Sugarbush Resort wedding in Warren, VT provided the perfect kickoff to my 2018 wedding season!
Proudly nestled amid the lush and verdent Green Mountain range, Sugarbush’s classic red barn facade beckons visitors with promises of comfort and merriment, two things that Michelle and Shawn most certainly imparted on the 100+ guests who traveled from as far as California and Washington to be in attendance. There wasn’t a soul in sight on their wedding day who wasn’t smiling. As for Shawn and Michelle, they were just glowing as they revelled in all the details of a day they had planned for alongside the awesome Kate Taylor, who saw to it that every second unfolded smoothly.
Everything about this wedding screams Vermont – from the bluegrass band that accompanied Michelle’s stroll down the aisle, to the Burlington based jam band that played into the night, to the Ben and Jerry’s dessert bar, to the blue skies and green grass that spread out as far as the eye could see… when it comes to perfect days, you couldn’t order one better than this.
