You never know what’s going to happen when you get someone in front of your camera. Are they going to feel awkward?Exposed? Reserved? …Or are they going to blossom? Totally shine in such a way that everything surrounding them just fades to the background they are all you notice?
Going into Casey’s senior photo session, I had no idea what to expect, but as soon as I pressed the shutter to take the first photo, I just knew I was about to create images that I was going to like a whole heck of a lot. No, not like…LOVE.
Casey is outgoing and kind and her warmth will draw you in immediately. She was game for literally any idea I threw at her, and she confidently posited her own creative input as well. It is this confidence that I will always remember as her shining trait. She radiates a strong sense of self that is staggeringly impressive given her age. And her beauty (and, man, is she beautiful) … it is a direct reflection of who she is within. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this human being. I had so much fun creating these images for her and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her.
