Brooke’s Troy NY boudoir photography session at The Gardner Farm Inn was simply awesome. Sometime last fall, I decided to conduct a day of back to back boudoir sessions to be held in the spring. From the moment the thought popped into my head, I knew the perfect space to host them: the gorgeous Gardner Farm Inn in Troy where I’d had the opportunity to photograph a styled shoot last April – see it here. I contacted John, the proprietor, and he was game from the jump. We settled on a date and when winter rolled around, I opened up the day and times for booking and sessions filled up fast.
Not only was I thrilled to shoot in one of my favorite ever spaces, but I got to work with a variety of women of all different ages with varying styles and comfort levels in front of the camera. My fourth session that day was the lovely Brooke – I met her in January of 2017 when I shot her sister’s wedding downstate and I was completely honored that she drove two and a half hours just to attend the session. Six hours in the car for an hour long session – now that’s dedication. But, seriously… I think it was worth it. She embraced her inner confidence and totally rocked her session! Take a look…
