You guys, I am seriously just dead over this wedding day. I mean, from the moment I met Rebecca and Bryan at the trailhead to begin their waterfall engagement session, which we shot last spring —see it here— I knew I was going to adore the experience of working with these two. Their personalities are such an interesting compliment to one another and their chemistry together is incredible. They are sweet and romantic and there is a passion between them that is clearly palpable.
When we chatted on the phone to finalize their wedding day timeline, Rebecca expressed a desire to do something a little different, something that was more Rebecca and Bryan and less typically bridal: they wanted to spend the time between their cermony and reception away from the crowd, doing something they love to do together – sharing a beer together at the Lionheart and enjoying the quiet peace that can be found at the Empire State Plaza on a Saturday afternoon. I could tell she was a bit hesitant about how I would receive her idea, but from the second the words came out of her mouth I was all in. All. In.
Not only did these two genuinely get to enjoy each other’s company on their wedding day, but I think the results are off-the-hook. These photos are dripping with a love that is as sincere as it is beautiful, as passionate as it is kind.
