I spent the entire day leading up to this shoot cooped up inside, hunched over my computer, and editing away, so by the time evening started to set in, I couldn’t have been more ready to grab my equipment and head off to Glenmont to meet up with Lauren at her family’s home and get busy making these photos.
Lauren and her family decided that the best place for Lauren’s senior portraits would be her own backyard, and you can imagine my delight as her mom, Nancy, showed me around her perfectly manicured gardens, which were aglow with color, and told me I was welcome to shoot anywhere.
Working with Lauren was an absolute breeze. She is sweet, smart, and gorgeous. Add to that that she’s a total natural in front of the camera. The result? Have a look for yourself.
