Although it poured without pause all day long, that didn’t stop Amy and Lo’s roaring 20s themed The Inn at Erlowest wedding from being absolutely magical from start to finish. In fact, the dark clouds and dampening rain only made everyone flock indoors to warmer, drier quarters. Guests donning fringed drop waist dresses, bowties and derby hats, and many varieties of glittery, fathery headpieces imbibed on alcohol in dark corners of the inn –a la prohibition period style– and then danced their socks off in the flapper fashion. Folks from as near as Glens Falls and as far as the Netherlands came together like old friends to join in the sheer merriment all present felt toward the union they were there to celebrate. At the center of it all, it was as if time stood still and everything around them just dissappeared each time Amy and Lo looked at one another. Theirs is a love that will last through all the ages and never, ever go out of style.
