Anne and Tim’s Saratoga, NY engagement session was incredible. Despite the cloudy skies and intermittent rain, there was nothing but warmth and great vibes from start to finish.
I had the joy of meeting Anne a few years ago when her brother Nick got married up in Lake Placid. I vividly remember Anne crying like a baby when she saw Nick all spiffed up in his handsome wedding attire. Her kindness and warmth toward everyone that day really left an impression on me, so when she contacted me last year and asked if I was available to shoot her wedding day I was beyond thrilled!
When I officially met her fiance Tim at this session, I was equally impressed. The way his whole face lights up when he looks at Anne sure is something to behold. As we walked between locations and I chatted with them, we talked about how they’d met in high school and how much marrying your high school sweetheart rocks (I might know a little something about this from personal experience <wink>). At one point Tim turned to me and said “You know, it’s really kind of cool. When you’re with someone this long and you essentially grow up together, they shape you; you are who you are because of them.”
Truer words have never been spoken.
I absolutely cannot wait to shoot these high school sweethearts as they say “I do” in November. Stay tuned for images from their day!
