Being that I shoot most of my weddings solo, I always enjoy the second half of a wedding day when I arrive to the reception venue and get to see who’s on deck to rock the party. I’ve worked with tons of Capital District DJs over the years and gotten to know the styles and work ethics of each, but I have to say I have a super soft spot for Chris Hollister of Hollister Entertainment. Chris and I met back in 2013 when we both “worked” a pre-wedding reception together and hit it off immediately. Over the years, Chris has told me all about his wife, Janice, his beautiful daughters, Sarah and Julie, and his beloved pooch, Milo, so I was so excited that Chris and I could get our families together at the Hollister house for a BBQ and a short photo shoot. What a good time it was!
If you’re ever in the market for a DJ, keep Chris in mind. He’s is so passionate about what he does and he keeps it real like no one else.
