After shooting Denyele and Jonathan’s Sweetheart Session just days before their Hudon House Inn wedding, I seriously could not wait for the big day. I knew Denyele and Jonathan were fun, up for anything, and super in love, and I knew their wedding day would reflect that perfectly. And I couldn’t have been more correct.
The thing I love the most about these two is that they were not only game for every last photo idea I threw their way, but they were also amazingly vocal about the ideas, thoughts, and posing questions that pop into their heads while I’m shooting. So rather than the photos being soley directed by me and my photographic vision, there is an dynamic artistic collaboration occuring. And it makes for images that are not only fun in their final product, but so much damn fun to create.
Denyele and Jonathan’s wedding day was just incredible from start to finish. There was no bridal party, so they got to focus all of their attention on each other. From their private first look; to their personal vows beside the Hudson; to hanging out in the park with their adorable dog, Crawl; to their around town photo session followed by an intimate dinner with family at the Hudson House Inn, this day was just ideal. Romantic. Perfect. So totally them!
