Kirsten and Chris’ Hayloft on the Arch wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. Like, truly. When I went to go look for Chris and his groomsmen to bring them outside for photos and found them all suited up and hanging out in the hayloft playing Cards Against Humanity, my only thought was ‘man, this is my kind of wedding’. The relaxed atmosphere, the freaking off-the-hook gorgeous wooden bouquets and boutonnieres, the green and earth tone touches at every turn, and the intense love between the bride and groom who, you’ll find it sweet to know, met on their first day of college orientation and haven’t been apart since.
Plus, I spied the coolest thing ever when I first viewed this gallery… I was casually scrolling through the many hundreds of images I captured and my eyes landed solidly on a photo that will now go down as one of my favorite shots ever. From time to time, I like to shoot through things to grab an interesting perspective, so when I snapped an image of Kirsten and Chris through the leaves of a tree, I didn’t think anything of it. But as I was reviewing my shots and came upon one shot in particular, the breath caught in my throat, my heart skipped a beat, my eyes welled with tears. This is how you know a couple is totally and completely meant to be. See if you can spot it.
