How fortunate am I that I get to follow folks through some of life’s momentous moments!?
I first met Caitlin and Andrew over drinks at Albany Ale in 2017. As we sat together and they told me all about their wedding day plans, we clicked immediately. I tried to play it cool, but I knew if they didn’t choose me to photograph their wedding day, I’d be super bummed to miss them tying the knot. Lucky for me, they did choose me (!!!) and from that day forward, I’ve gotten to photograph five pivotal seasons in their journey as a couple: their engagement, their wedding, their maternity photos, their son Noah’s newborn photos, and most recently: photos of them as a family to mark one year together with their adorable little boy.
Although it was a scorcher (not sure why we have such temperamental luck with the weather – together we have endured every weather condition save for snow during their shoots), the Pienieznys didn’t disappoint. Their session was filled with love, lots of smiles, and endless inquisitive gazes from Mr. Noah. He’s such a love-bug!!
