From a personal and a photographic perspective, Sheila and Joe’s Burlap and Beams wedding was an absolute dream. Give me men in blue suits, soft muted florals, flowing curls and a backdrop to die for and I’m in heaven. Add to that a love between two people that is so deep and genuine and good and you have a perfect mix for the perfect day.
There wasn’t one thing about this wedding that I didn’t totally adore – from the couples’ family (I wanted to take them all home with me at the end of the night!), to the off-the-charts amazing summery weather we were blessed with on a mid-October day, to the tears of sheer joy shed during the first look…
I could go on and on…
As I edited this wedding, I was reminded second by second about how purely magical this day was. I was also reminded (not that I ever need to be reminded of this, but…) how much I love, love, love shooting at Burlap and Beams. People frequently ask me if I ever get tired or bored when I return to shoot at a familiar venue and when it it comes to B&B, the answer is a loud and resounding “NEVER!” This location never disasspoints and I love how each couple makes it their own for one incredible day. Sheila and Joe’s day was no exception.
This wedding was seriously pure magic, you guys. Just look!
