Trudi and Blake were married on August 12th at Temple Israel in Albany, NY. From the moment I arrived and greeted the girls, who were finishing up the final details of their hair and makeup and donning their dresses, I knew it was going to be a good day. Trudi was so cool and collected – if she was nervous at all, she didn’t show a single sign. Her breezy demeanor stayed with her throughout the day, adding to the glow that emanated from her face.
The best part of this wedding was bearing witness to Trudi and Blake’s sweet affection. The dynamic between this couple is just plain awesome. When they look at each other, you can see that they’re not only completely and totally in love but they’re also the best of friends. The genuine laughter they easily elicit from one another is wholly contagious.
From the “first look” moment they shared before their ceremony, to Blake’s daughter Vivian’s ukulele rendition of Jason Mraz’s song “I’m Yours”, to the outstanding karaoko performances that capped off their reception, Trudi and Blake created a wedding day to remember.
Congratulations, Trudi and Blake. If Victor Borge was right when he said “Laughter is the shortest distance between two people”, may there never be an inch between you.
