Megan | Maternity Session

i met with megan in her home for a shoot.  while we were taking advantage of the afternoon light pouring in through the her son jackson’s playroom window, her husband matt returned home from shopping with jackson in tow.  being the curious two year old he is, he had to come in to see what œmomma and œkay-yee were up to.  as you can see, he is an active guy – always smiling and full of giggles.  i tried getting him in the frame a few times, but the smart little fella’ knew what we were up to and met my request to join mom for a picture with a resounding œno.  thankfully, i was able to sneak a few shots while he was too busy doing what he does best – loving his mom, that is.  later that evening megan came over and i took some more photos of her in a few different locations in my home.  as you can see, megan is a photographer’s dream subject – she is able to make subtle facial expressions in each frame that make each picture completely different from the last and that capture her essence perfectly.
